I love this image, which so beautifully sums up modern consumer Capitalism as developed by Edward Bernays using a number of Freudian insights (his uncle was Sigmund):
It's the ultimate expression of a lifestyle where products are linked to fundamental drives, turned into "wants". And notice that drooping penis just over his right hip, his firm grip on the erect penis in his left hand, and his gently parted lips in close proximity to the phallic phone in his right hand, the manly building site (complete with check-shirted "lumberjack"/Village People worker), and the communal shower-head rose with its associations of the lads all naked together and, er, larking around...
I need to go lie down.
