Arty memorial

Just two shots of one of my favourite London statues:


This delightful chap is the centrepiece of a memorial to the machine gunners of World War I.

Perhaps surprisingly for a war memorial, he's got the whole Michelangelo-esque contrapposto thing going on...


And, as is obvious from the size of his fig leaf, it's clear he has a teeny-tiny willy. Possibly the smallest in London, in fact. Very tasty.

I wonder why so many statues of this sort have such small cocks.

I seem to remember he has also one of the best bottoms in London.

It's all the standing around for hours on end in a sculptor's cold studio - shrivels the parts.
