Steeple goodness

A pair of images sent to me by a kind reader who knows exactly how to press my buttons:

A steeplecab locomotive preserved at the Western Railway Museum in California (which specialises in electric railways and even has a Blackpool tram!), this delightful beast originally worked the US's dense network of electric railways.

The real question is why haven't the rest of you sent me presents like this? I mean, honestly, it's just take, take, take (etc, etc, ad nauseam).

My thanks to my very generous reader.

So very sorry not to have thought of it before. It's a great museum of rail vehicles. I'll re-orient my view to include US interesting rail. JD in PA
