Good fit

First the completely good news: utterly brilliant Channel 4 series Misfits is coming back for a third season -- shooting is starting right about now.

Now the bad news: the utterly brilliant Robert Sheehan will not be returning.

This is A Travesty. Sheehan is a comedic talent of complete wonder. A veritably fearless actor.

Alas, news of his departure has left me sobbing, wailing, and generally pulling out my hair.

Apparently his genius has been recognised by Hollywood so, instead of filming Misfits, he's off to become a massive international star. Damn him.

On the positive side, Lauren Socha's completely delightful chav criminal Kelly will be returning.

As Nathan said after the first time she spoke "What was that? Is that even English?"

Apparently Misfits is being remade in the US: but since it won't have the completely evil language and I suspect most of the outrageous plots will be severely toned-down (Nathan having sex with an 80 year old...?), I do wonder what the point is.

Will they "kill" him off? Lol.

Good news tinged with bad news.
If he's not coming back it seems pointless.
