Yeah, it rather startled me, too. I love cats.
PS: I've had a complaint that this is simply an edited version of a longer video that is, actually, funnier. So here it is and you can judge for yourself:
I dunno: there's more tension in the first, but the latter has cuter close-ups. Tricky.

That's funny but it's just an edited version of "stalking cat" which has more takes in it and I think is funnier. The bit where he traverses the chair legs is especially funny.
