Red Stripe
I stumbled across this image and it made me realise I haven't featured any of my favourite Class 37 locomotives for an absolute eternity.
Just the one shot, but what an image. This is, incidentally, a prototype version of British Rail's "Railfreight" livery: later versions had a broad red stripe along the bottom of the sides. I rather like the simplicity of this.

Always a delight to see a Class 37 and one watches the Crewe - Holyhead line in eternal hope, occasionally rewarded...
